Nevertheless, as one would expect for an expedition of this magnitude and consequence, it will be necessary for travelers to plan well in advance to secure their place among the included, and prompt RSVPs are both encouraged and required.Flying the Friendly SkiesThe most convenient airport for the journey is the Birmingham International Airport. Ground TransportationTravelers should note that Copper Mountain Lodge at Twin Pines is located thirty to forty-five minutes from the Birmingham International Airport and is not easily accessible by taxicab. Travelers should plan to rent a car or hitch a ride with their comrades to ensure they can both make their way to Twin Pines and make their escape. Car rental discounts on Hertz and Avis are available through the Continental Airlines reservations department. |
