As with any excursion to an untamed and savage land, we
cannot guarantee any of the events on our itinerary will occur nor that we
will visit any of the unusual spots we intend to visit. Nevertheless,
for your convenience and excitement, we list the following proposed
happenings:
Friday, October 17, 2003
The Campbell Clan and the Hinkle Crew invite guests to a welcoming evening luau of local delicacies commencing
at 6:00 in the evening. Following the feast, travelers will be invited to
enjoy social time, all brightened by never-ending ever-flowing libations
both exotic and strange which will be served until an indeterminate
(indelicate) hour.
Saturday, October 18, 2003
Travelers will be invited to pass the day in recreation and in recovery
from the night before. Commencing at five bells in the late afternoon,
a bizarre ceremony of great importance will be performed for our parcel of
invitees, followed by a gathering involving both food and so-called "tipsy
beverages" guaranteed to warm the spirit and lower the inhibitions.
Bedtime is a myth in exotic Alabama - travelers be forewarned.
Sunday, October 19, 2003
The Reed family of Toronto, Canada invites travelers to the Bon Voyage
Brunch. The event will commence at 8:00 in the morning and continue through 11:00,
providing the
nourishment and camaraderie necessary to carry visitors home to their loved
ones and jealous neighbours.
